I agree. Surely the best place on Earth to experience high alpine terrain is the High Alps? Shivering at 3600m knowing you've got a mile and a half vertical to ride is special. Venosc with a vertical mile on your arms is special.
Wharncliffe's dead easy finding the trails from the top car park once you know the craic. Go through the gates and turn right at every junction, you'll end up on the top fire road with Fasttrack, Peaty's, Nemba et al on your right, and Diamondback about a quarter mile to your left. The top road and bottom road form a loop, so if you have a mooch in either direction looking for lines, you'll always end up back on the top. About Us
